Shining Stars is a Non-Competitive Recreational Club
where the emphasis is on 'Passion and Fun'. Founded in 2003 we
are a friendly, lively and well respected club based at the Ridgeway Leisure Centre, Wroughton a village on the outskirts of Swindon in Wiltshire. We are a smaller club at the hart of the community which we use as an advantage; our members participate in small groups with low teacher to pupil ratio with experienced coaches. The participants follow a fun, energetic and enjoyable syllabus especially structured for enthusiastic children. Courses range from the complete beginner to the more established gymnast and bouncer. We operate on a more personal level, involving parents as much as possible and hopefully producing a more family orientated atmosphere.
Gymnastics is great fun and provides a foundation for many other sports. It can be used as a stepping stone in preparing your child/children to participate and succeed in all types of sporting events. It teaches many of the basic skills children will require in later life, such as discipline, socialising, team spirit and confidence building.
Everyone has to start somewhere the club welcomes potential gymnasts of all abilities if your child/children would like to try gymnastics or trampolining, why not contact the club for further details and to arrange a 'free trail' session.
